Who doesn't love making their own products for using around the house. As many families today are concerned about the hard to pronounce ingredients in many products, it's comforting to know you can make homemade versions with all natural ingredients. It's something that the kids can help you do for a little extra fun family time. And there's a certain amount of pride in the fact that you make something for you family and you saved a little cash for pizza night too!

So here's how to make your own homemade liquid Dish soap:

1 T. shredded bar soap (low suds kind, like Ivory)

1 T.  washing soda

1 T. vinegar

mix in 1 1/2 cup of really hot water and stir until all ingredients are melted.  It will start to gel as it cools.  Stir  from time to time throughout the day.  Let it sit overnight.  Add in a couple of drops of essential oil.  Pour into empty squeeze bottle and you are ready to wash those dishes or wipe down that counter.
