A university press release states McNeese State University’s fall High School Preview Day – “Cowboy Q&A Day” - will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in F.G. Bulber Auditorium. This event is offered for area high school students interested in attending McNeese, along with their parents, to learn more about what the university has to offer.
This free event, sponsored by the McNeese Admissions and Recruiting Office, will provide opportunities for prospective students to meet with McNeese faculty, staff and current students. Participating students will receive a wristband to attend free either the Cowboys versus Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin football game at 7 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium or exciting McNeese collegiate rodeo action at 7 p.m. at the Burton Complex. Football tickets for family members can be purchased at the ticket office in the Doland Field House and rodeo tickets can be purchased at the door of the Burton Complex. Registration begins at 1 p.m., with a welcome presentation at 2 p.m., both in F.G. Bulber Auditorium. Participants will then move to the Quad area at 2:30 p.m. where representatives from academic departments will be on hand to answer questions. Optional mini-sessions on everything from financial aid and scholarships to housing and student services will be offered beginning at 3 p.m. in first floor classrooms of the Burton Business Center and Farrar Hall. Campus tours will also be available.
