Higgins Floor Debut

Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins made his first ever speech from the well of the House Floor.  Among other remarks the newly minted Congressman noted that now is the time for “strength and reform”.

OK, he’s not Daniel Webster, but he believes President Trump's immigration order will protect US citizens, and that the order will begin to re-establish United States strength throughout the free world.

As a former cop, Higgins noted he thinks recent protests around the country regarding immigration are a by-product of hysterical media, that may also further endanger the lives of law enforcement officers.
