Southeastern's Brandon Acker scored on an 82 yard pass play with 8 seconds left to give the SLU Lions a 31-24 win over McNeese last night in Hammond. The Cowboys had punted with 47 seconds left giving the Lions the ball on their own 15 yard line. After a 3 yard gain on a running play, Justin Alo heaved up a pass that was actually tipped by Cowboy defender Jermaine Antoine. But the ball landed in the hands of Acker who brought it into the endzone for the win.

McNeese had a tough time moving the ball on Southeastern Louisiana gaining just 304 total yards. James Tabary saw his 200 yard passing streak come to an end as he went 25-41 for 196 yards 2 TDs and 1 interception. He threw touchdown passes to Nick Edwards and Dylan Long. Lawayne Ross added a touchdown run and Gunner Raborn kicked a 30 yard field goal. Parker Orgeron caught 5 passes for 67 yards while Ryan Ross ran for 88 yards on 13 carries.
