Guilty Pleasures — What Music Really Connects With You?
I get to work here each morning around 4 or so to get ready to do the show. Now, I don’t know if you know this or not, but there are 5 radio stations in this building. Well, this morning I was talking with two guys from our country station (Gator 99.5) and the discussion turned to music.
The question put forth was basically “What music do you consistently listen to as a guilty pleasure?” Well, I thought that was an interesting question, especially since the two country personalities both named a couple of rap artists from the early 80s and 90s. For my part, the answer was easy.
For decades now, my fall back choice has been “Highway 61 Revisited” by Bob Dylan. I’ve been through a few copies of the CD and I still have the original vinyl given to me by a girlfriend when I was in the 9th grade.
So, the question I want to put to you is simply this:
Do you have a particular piece of music or song or even album that you go back to time and time again?
It’s anonymous, so give your real honest answer.
