I guess I'm the odd man out on this one. I actually like to do mashed potatoes with the skin still on. To my taste, the peel ads a nice texture and, of course, imparts a kind of earthy flavor to plain mashed potatoes. Of course, there are an awful lot of people who can't stand even the hint of a peel in their potatoes.

Let's face it, when it comes to preparing a dish that contains potatoes, there is little in this world more boring than peeling them. Those little veggie peelers are pretty handy, but it still takes a lot of time to stand there and peel a bunch of potatoes.

The hack in this video shows a super easy way to peel potatoes and, for those who can't stand any peeling at all, it's perfect because the whole peel comes off in two simple moves. All you need is a knife, some boiling water and, of course, a bunch of potatoes.
