‘Golf For Kids’ Sake’ Benefit Tomorrow In Lake Charles

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana is holding their 5th annual golf tournament, Golf For Kids’ Sake tomorrow at the Lake Charles Country Club with lunch served at 11:30am and tournament starting at 1:00pm.

They will host golfers from the local professional community who will be supporting their organization through sponsorships and team participation.

Teams consist of four players at $500. There is the option of choosing to “String It Out” : players may buy a piece of 6ft string for a set price to be used during play to improve a player’s lie or even void a stroke. At any point, a player may move the ball the length of the string or less, to any desired position. If the player uses less than the full length, they have to cut the amount used and will have the remaining amount for use in a future situation in the round.

There will also be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place golfers.
