Go-Go’s Are ‘Ladies Gone Wild’ This Summer

The Go-Go’s will commemorate the 30th anniversary of their double-platinum debut album, “Beauty and the Beat,” with a summer tour across North America. Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock, Jane Wiedlin and Kathy Valentine will kick off the “Ladies Gone Wild” trek with a May 29th performance in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The 23-date road trip spans two months, mixing U.S. and Canadian gigs before the August 28th conclusion in Austin, Texas. The Go-Go’s rose to fame in 1981 with the release of “Beauty and the Beat,” which includes the chart-topping hits “Our Lips Are Sealed” and “We Got the Beat.” A deluxe edition of the 30-year-old album will hit shelves May 17th. The collection will feature a bonus disc with previously unreleased music from a 1981 live set.
