“Forgotten” Classic Hits — “Shannon” by Henry Gross

Funny how songs that were on the radio non-stop "back in the day" can slip through the cracks after a period of time. there are tons of songs that made the Top 10 or even made it all the way to #1 that have gotten lost in the shuffle. I thought it might be fun, from time to time, to go back and hear some of these "Forgotten Classic Hits"

For no particular reason, I thought we'd start with this 1976 Top 10 Hit from Henry Gross. The song "Shannon" was written about Carl Wilson's (The Beach Boys) Samoyed. In the Spring of 1976, the record went to # 6 on the Billboard charts.
