Before he became known to millions of people all over the world as Sheriff Andy Taylor, Andy Griffith did some stints as a stand-up. When I was a kid, this record came out and my best friend and I, Pat McClure, wore out the record listening and laughing.

Well, here we are at the beginning of football season and I thought I'd drag this old bit out of mothballs because it still stands up pretty well considering it was recorded back in the 50s.
