Everything You Need To Know About the McNeese Homecoming Parade, Pep Rally and Fireworks

The McNeese Homecoming Parade, pep rally and fireworks are all tomorrow (10/17/13.) We have gathered all the details you need here in one place.

The Parade will primarily roll south down Ryan Street and is scheduled to get underway at seven tomorrow night. The parade will end at the McNeese Atheletic Complex with the pep rally and fireworks to take place in Cowboy Stadium following the parade. There is no bonfire scheduled this year. Date of Parade: Thursday, October 17, 2013

Line-up time: 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Parade time: 7:00 p.m.

Line-up location: Stadium Complex, Freshman Parking Lot A

Parade Route: Marching bands will be folded in with the floats at University Methodist Church. The parade will primarily travel south on Ryan Street and travel to McNeese Street. Turn east on McNeese Street and travel back to the Cowboy Stadium to disembark.

Theme: Cowboy Strong

Opponents: Sam Houston State University; Mascot is the Bearkats; Colors are orange and white.

Awards: Three divisions will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards; University Large, University Small, Community Small and Large.

A Pep Rally and Fireworks will be held adjacent to the disband site in the stadium immediately following the parade.
