The guy in the picture is Anthony D. Collins. Anthony was doing a job for the parish picking up litter. Around 11:00am, Anthony evidently decided he'd had enough of that job, and just walked off. The CPSO would like their inmate back, and they're asking for our help in finding Anthony.

I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time, but now Anthony will be facing a whole basket of new charges he'll have to deal with when they catch him. The last time anyone saw Collins, he was wearing an orange jumpsuit. At least he had sense enough to dump the jumpsuit on Landfair Drive here in Lake Charles.

Collins' last known address was in the 500 block of Broad Street, so he may show up there or not. Collins was out picking up litter and wearing an orange jumpsuit because he was serving time for drug charges, and for violating his parole on fraud charges. CPSO spokesperson, Kim Myers, asked anyone with information on Collins’ whereabouts to call the Sheriff’s Office at 337-491-3605.
