Without a doubt, one of the last true movie stars and one of the most beloved figures of the 20th Century -- a woman just as famous for her off-screen life as her on-screen projects -- died today.  Elizabeth Taylor died from continuing congestive heart failure at the age of 79.

A two-time Oscar winner who made more than 50 films, she was easily the most famous woman in the world in her heyday.  She brought a glamour and elegance to the screen that just isn't seen in contemporary film.  The world may never see her like again.  See full details on her passing here.
