Apparently, LSU head football coach Ed Orgeron won't have to worry about getting paid over the next few years.

Orgeron is reportedly receiving a contract extension from the school, one that will pay him for at least the next four years, and likely much beyond.

Terms have not been finalized, but we do know that Orgeron's current deal, which guarantees him $3.5 million annually, plus incentives, expires at the end of the 2021 season.

The 57-year old Orgeron, who guided the Tigers to a 10-3 record in 2018, is 25-9 at LSU since taking over as interim head coach in 2016.

A native of Larose, Louisiana, Orgeron, who was head coach at Ole Miss from 2005-2007, has accumulated an overall record of 41-36 as a head coach.
