According to a story on the WWL website Anton Gerashenko, an adviser to Ukraine's interior minister said on his facebook page that Malaysian Flight MH17 was shot down by separatist loyal to Russia using a BUK Missile. Would this implicate Russia?

Malaysian authorities say that there is no evidence the plane was shot down. It may take some time for us to learn the truth. According to Ukrainian authorities a Russian plane shot down a Ukrainian military aircraft earlier this week. This has fuel speculation that Russia is aiding the separatist. The Malaysian flight crashed over separatist controlled territory. Also earlier this week pro-Russian forces claimed to have shot down two Ukrainian aircraft using surface to air missiles.
