Freshly minted two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart has just wrapped up work on his first album of new tunes in over a decade, and has just started on his autobiography. Stewart, already in the Hall as a solo artist and will be inducted in April as a member of The Faces, says he wrote seven new songs to go with the four covers on his yet untitled new work.

As for the autobiography, he says he just started "doing the period from 1945, when I was born, through 1962. It's going to be an epic story."
