District Attorney Candidates Forum Wednesday, October 8 at 6 p.m.

The League of Women Voters is holding a forum for Calcasieu Parish District Attorney Candidates on Wednesday, October 8 at 6 p.m. in the Police Jury Government Building  at 1015 Pithon Street.The purpose of the forum is to give each candidate an opportunity to address a wide range of issues and for the voters to get to know each candidate.

As a nonpartisan political organization, the League of Women Voters believes it is their responsibility to raise public awareness on election issues. A public forum for all candidates to share their priorities for our community is an effective means of achieving this goal.

The League of Women Voters provides voter information to the public and encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government.
