Walt Disney Theme Parks and Resorts are amending a rule that dates back to the 1950s- employees will no longer be prohibited from having beards or goatees.  Of course, there are a few caveats- facial hair must be well-maintained, no longer than a quarter of an inch and “create an overall neat, polished and professional look.”  And that’s just for the women. Zing. The company is also establishing “Casual Friday” for certain park employees.  This isn’t the first time the “Disney Look” standards have undergone a makeover- two years ago they began allowing women to wear skirts without pantyhose, (sorry ladies, I think your legs would look better in pantyhose in that instance) and in 2000, moustaches were approved.  Wonder if this new facial hair rule applies to the guy who wears the Mickey Mouse costume?
