You never know what you're going to see when you go in close on Google or Apple maps. Believers say that the picture of Scotland's Loch Ness looks like there might be the image of the elusive Nessie.

The shape is about 100 feet long, and looks like it has flippers on the side.  Naturally, people immediately suspected it was the Loch Ness Monster.  In fact, the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club says it's, quote, "likely" the Monster.

Skeptics, on the other hand, say it looks like the wake from a boat. Good theory, but there's no boat in the picture.

This is big news for the Loch Ness Monster.  The president of the fan club announced in February that no one had reported a sighting for 18 months . . . that's the longest span without a Loch Ness Monster sighting since 1925.

Now, I don't think for a moment that it's a picture of the Loch Ness Monster. That's just a silly thing to think. It's either a space ship or the Abominable Snowman going for a swim.
