DeRidder Attempted Murder Suspect On The Run From Sheriffs

Ricky Calloway, 49, of DeRidder is wanted for attempted 1st degree murder by the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to authorities Calloway ran his Suburban into is ex-wife's house. Deputy Police Chief Christopher Rudy said 2 people inside the house went outside after the impact to inspect what happened.  Rudy says that Calloway attempted to run the victims over with his vehicle.

After he missed the victims, Calloway then parked his vehicle by his ex-wife's bedroom and started pouring gasoline over it.  He lit the Suburban on fire and was shouting that everyone was going to die.

He fled the scene and he's on the lam from Law Enforcement.
