The internet is not a private place. If you plan to troll the net for illegal activity. you might want to keep that in mind. This guy didn't.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested convicted sex offender Wesley T. Lummus, 23, 2010 Patton Street, Lot # 7, Sulphur, after an investigation revealed he created several user profiles and accessed numerous Internet social media website, as prohibited by law for sex offenders of certain crime with juvenile victims.

Lummus, who was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in Calcasieu Parish in February 2011, also failed to provide every email address, online screen name, or other online identifier used to communication on the internet to law enforcement before it was used, as required by law for all registered sex offenders.

Lummus was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 10 counts unlawful use of social networking website; and 1 count failure to register as a sex offender.

Judge David Ritchie set his bond at $300,000.
