Cowboys Make Huskers Earn Their Win

The McNeese Cowboys went into the match-up as real underdogs. When the dust cleared in Nebraska, the Huskers got the win, but they had to work hard for a small margin.

I guess the web based SB Nation summed it up best:

One of college football's proudest programs was humbled by a small school from Lake Charles, La.

 

There was a lot of talk before the game about how a great football program (Huskers) was going to send the Cowboys home smarting from their wounds, but our Cowboys turned the tables on them and made Nebraska earn every yard they gained. It was only in the last :20 of the game that the Hunkers pulled their collective fat out of the fire and won the game 31-24.

Yeah, it's a game in the loss for our Cowboys, but they made us all proud!
