Cormie’s Grocery Destroyed by Fire

Cormie's Grocery was not your typical fast stop grocery store. Cormie's was a landmark known for it's good food and neighborhood service. The landmark was destroyed last night by an enormous blaze.

Lake Charles firefighters responded to the call around 2 A.M. but the building was already too far gone to be saved. Of course, at this early hour there ae no details available but we will update this site as information comes in.
