Citgo Chili Cookoff Thursday

Team Citgo is at it again, bring great events to the lake Area and for Halloween, Citgo will hold their 2nd annual Spice Chili Cook-Off.

The second annual CITGO Fire & Spice Chili Cook Off, benefiting United Way of SWLA, will take place on Thursday, October 31, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at CITGO Park. Cooking Teams consist of three members who prepare five gallons of chili, on site, with a minimum of 15 lbs of meat. Awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Competition Chili, People’s Choice, Best Team Costume and Best Table Decoration will be presented. Rules & Regulations are provided for complete information and must be followed. All interested participants are to complete and submit the registration form, along with the $200 entry fee, by Wednesday, October 9, 2013. On-site registration will not be accepted the day of the event. Requested preferred cooking locations are double the registration, $400. In the event of more than one request, the location goes to the highest bidder.
