Casey Kasem in Critical Condition

The drama that has been Casey Kasem's life for the past few months has a new update and that is that Casey has been admitted to St. Anthony Hospital in Washington state.

Hospital and family spokespeople are making sure to stress that the announcement does not mean that Kasem is on his death bed, but rather that he is receiving antibiotics through IVs, blood pressure support medicine and care for his bed sores.

A spokesman for the family, Danny Deraney,  is quoted as saying,

'it could be his last moments or he could get better. Deraney clarified that he never meant that Kasem's health was failing as was reported by several media outlets.'

 

Kasem is best known for his long stint as host of American Top 40.
