Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Deputy Charged with Domestic Abuse

This past Saturday Calcasieu parish Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to a  call in reference to a suspicious woman knocking on doors in Sulphur. This lead to an arrest of a CPSO deputy on domestic abuse charges.

Deputies found the woman with her face covered in blood with a possible broken nose. She also had scratches on both arms and her neck. She told deputies that her husband had inflicted the injuries. Her husband had worked in the CPSO's Civil Division and was a 22 year veteran of the CPSO. Keith A. Andrus was charged with domestic abuse battery. He was terminated from the Sheriff's Department by Sheriff Tony Mancuso.
