Ready for some great Cajun food cooked by somebody's momma? Then mark your calendar for the Calca-Chew festival at September 28th.

St Margaret Catholic Church at the corner of Enterprise and 17th in Lake Charles will be where all the good smells are coming from on Sunday, September 28th. The festival starts with a 7 a.m. mass and continues until three with a silent auction, games, live entertainment and lots of great food prepared by the parishioners. The festival was named a Top 20 Festival by the Southeast Tourism Society. So come pass a good time and try some Boudin, Etouffee, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice and Fried Fish. You won't leave hungry!
