Brees Says He Will Not Let His Boys Play Football Until They Are Teenagers

Football is a rough game. Drew Brees himself has experienced what could have been a career ending injury. He recently indicated he will not allow his sons to play until they are teenagers.

Drew and his wife Brittany have three sons (Baylen 4, Bowen 2 and Callen 1.) As parents they don't think letting the kids play at a young age is worth the risk of injury. In a USA Today interview Brees said "At a certain age, I think it's appropriate. I think you can be too young to go out there and strap on a helmet." Does that mean the Brees dynasty will never unseat the Manning dynasty? The answer to that question remains to be answered. Drew did indicate that when the boys are old enough they can play football if they choose. Could you imagine them not wanting too?
