All the surviving Beach Boys,  brought the crowd to their feet with a fantastic live performance of their 1966 #1 Hit "Good Vibrations". No report if the vibrations between long feuding Brian Wilson and Mike Love were good or bad...But once on stage the group really had the goods!

Joining Love and Wilson on stage were Beach Boy stalwarts Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston as well as David Marks who was actually a member back in the early days while Al Jardine went off to college.

American Idol host handled the introductions and you could tell he knew he was part of something. After, the complete Beach Boys band has not appeared together in decades.

Current indie-rock heroes Foster the People,  knocked out an impressive take on the 1966 ‘Pet Sounds’ opener ‘Wouldn’t it be Nice.’ Bonus points to them for dressing up in vintage attire.
