I often tell people I have never worked a day in my life. That's because I have been doing what I have always wanted to do since I was 15: radio. From playing 45s when I was in high school, to working with one of the country's largest radio corporations, I have done just about everything in the business, including being a station owner. I was born, raised, and still live in West Calcasieu. I am a child of the '70s, so being on the air at 92.9 The Lake is the perfect radio job for me. I am actually playing songs I played as a teenager while still in high school! In between, I have had the pleasure of working at some of the best stations in our area with some of the best people. I do love sports. I am an avid Houston Astros fan, and have been a New Orleans Saints fan since their first game back in 1967. I have been the voice of McNeese sports as the PA announcer along with some play by play on the radio for over 30 years. And I am the proud dad to beautiful daughter. Yes, it's been a pretty good career and life for this Southwest Louisiana boy! While you're here, check out 10 more things you might not have known about me.
