Another Multi-DWI winner is off the roads, for now. On Tuesday, CPSO arrested Kevin T. Price of Sulphur who already had two DWI's on his record.

Here is the official release from Kim Meyers with the CPSO:

On June 10, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local casino parking lot in reference to a report of a possible drunk driver.  While en route, deputies located the car described by the complainant and conducted a traffic stop.

When deputies approached the car and spoke with the driver, Kevin T. Price, 32, 2001 Sherwood Drive, Sulphur, they detected a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his breath, his speech was very slurred, and he appeared very unsteady on his feet.

After performing poorly on the standard field sobriety test, Price, who has two prior DWI arrests since 2005, was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged DWI 3rd and was released on a $21,000 bond set by Judge Clayton Davis.

CPSO Sr. Cpl. Dennis Hanisee was the arresting deputy on this case.
