America’s Most Redneck Cities — I Protest!

Sacramento, California on the list of "Redneck Cities?" Seriously? Hell, Sacramento has more book stores and yogurt stores than a strip mall in Highland Park, Texas!

I'm from Southeast Texas and I'm here to tell you there are small towns in the area we call "up country" that would make all these so-called "Redneck Comics" go screaming for a latte and a mani-pedi !

So, it seems that a real estate company decided to make a list of the 10 most Redneck Cities in America. What was the criteria?

The very distinguished list is comprised of eight factors, including high school graduation rate, number of guns and ammo stores per capita, number of taxidermists per capita, number of Walmarts per capita and number of NASCAR tracks in the area.

So, channel your inner Jeff Foxworthy, trade in your sensible four-door sedan for an RV and get ready to take a look at the 10 most redneck cities:

3. Oklahoma City, Okla.
4. Nashville, Tenn.
5. Tulsa, Okla.

I still cry foul! I'll put any of my dad's side of the family up as proof that Silsbee and China, Texas a just a whole lot more Redneck than Cleveland, Ohio!
