Of all the songs played around Halloween, Jim Stafford's 1973 hit "Swamp Witch" has to be one of the moodiest. It would have made a good movie had Hollywood been in the habit of turning songs into movies back then.

Oddly enough, it wasn't a Halloween song at all. "Swamp Witch" is a spooky story, but the song was actually released in July of '73.

So, turn off the lights, light a candle and enjoy the story of "Swamp Witch"

The artwork in this video is GREAT!
