I'm sure all 50 states have an equal share of dumb laws on the books. Let me give you a for instance:

It is illegal to let your pig run free in Detroit unless it has a ring in its nose.

Now, that law may make perfect sense if you happen to be from Detroit. Then again, it just sounds like a stupid law.

The thing about Louisiana's crazy laws is that they only seem really crazy if your not from Louisiana. Let's face it, Louisiana is one of the most unique states anywhere. Sure, other states all have their good points, but when it comes to culture, we've got them all beat.
